Icodeio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Icodeio ("Icodeio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our marketplace, including the website, the client dashboard, and any related APIs.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and a hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, the basic profile information (name, email) that provider shares with us.

Order and entitlement information: products and editions you purchase, order and payment status, license and download-entitlement records, and coupon usage.

Support and build-request content: the messages, attachments, and requirements you submit through support tickets or custom software build requests.

Other activity you generate: product reviews, wishlist items, and in-app notification history.

Technical and security data: we record download attempts against a hashed version of your IP address (not the raw address) for fraud and abuse prevention, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify you're not a bot when registering or resetting your password, which involves Cloudflare processing your IP address and browser signals on our behalf.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to: create and maintain your account; process payments and grant the entitlements and licenses you've purchased; generate the short-lived signed links used to deliver your downloads; respond to support tickets and build requests; send transactional emails such as order confirmations, password-reset links, and status notifications; and detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on the Service.

4. Payment information

Checkout is handled by PayPal. Icodeio does not receive or store your full payment card or bank account details — PayPal processes that information directly under its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in (session and authentication tokens). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. How we share information

We share information with the service providers who help us run Icodeio, and only to the extent needed for them to perform that function: PayPal (payments), Cloudflare (file storage for purchased assets, and bot verification via Turnstile), our transactional email provider (delivering account and order emails), and Google or GitHub (only if you choose to sign in with one of them).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Icodeio, our users, or others.

7. Data retention

We retain account, order, and license information for as long as your account is active and for as long afterward as we have a legitimate business, accounting, or legal reason to keep it (for example, order records needed for tax or dispute-resolution purposes). You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 8, subject to what we're required or permitted to retain.

8. Your rights

You can review and update most of your account information directly from your dashboard. To request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account, contact us at support@icodeio.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

9. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Administrator and Super Administrator accounts require two-factor authentication in addition to a password. Purchased files are never served from a permanent or public URL — every download uses a short-lived, individually-signed link generated at the time of the request.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using the measures described above.

10. Children's privacy

Icodeio is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18 years old. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@icodeio.com and we'll take appropriate action.

11. International data transfers

Icodeio and the service providers described in Section 6 may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

13. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests regarding your personal information, can be sent to support@icodeio.com.
